The Clear Proof Tafsir

Topic Progress:
The Clear Proof Tafsir
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Those who disbelieved among the People of Scripture and the polytheists were not to be parted until there came to them clear evidence
The People of the Book and the polytheists will not leave their religions until they see the clear sign which is mentioned in their scriptures.
A Messenger of Allah, reciting purified scriptures
That sign is a Messenger from Allah who recites to them revelation
Within which are correct writings
This revelation contains clear signs, truthful stories of old and guides to what is good.
Nor did those who were given the Scripture become divided until after there had come to them clear evidence
They only disbelieved in the Prophet after he was sent due to jealousy and hatred.
And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth, and to establish prayer and to give zakah. And that is the correct religion
But the only commands he came with are the ones they had in their own Books of believing in Allah, praying and giving charity.
Indeed, they who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell, abiding eternally therein. Those are the worst of creatures.
For such people, their abode will be the Hellfire for eternity. They are the worst of people for disbelieving in the Prophet and Qur’an.
Indeed, they who have believed and done righteous deeds—those are the best of creatures.
As for those who believe and accept revelation, they are the best of people.
Their reward with Allah will be gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, Allah being pleased with them and they with Him. That is for whoever has feared his Lord.
Their reward is with Allah, and will be gardens with rivers beneath them for eternity. More than this, they will have the pleasure of Allah which is the greatest of rewards. This is due to their obedience and God-fearing.
